Aerosmith was formed in 1969 in Boston, Massachusettes when Steven Tyler's band, Chain Reaction joined with Joe Perry's band, The Jam Band. Aerosmith is made up of Steven Tyler on vocals, Joe Perry on lead guitar, Brad Whitford on guitar, Tom Hamilton on bass guitar, and Joey Kramer on Drums. Aerosmith released their first album, which was self-titled, in 1973.
